Oops! It’s been a minute since I posted, but after the Sustainable Holiday Gift Guide, I needed a bit of a breather to create some more seasonal content! I love love LOVE this time of year (have I said that before?). Not sure if it’s the magic of the season, the holiday music and movies, or the fact that there are so many wonderful things this month (my birthday happens to fall near Xmas as well hehe), but all of it just gives me so much joy. Another big factor is how much I enjoy a giant mug of tea, a book, and a cozy sweater to bundle up in. Why do I love a sweater? I think you know the answer to that – it’s a comfy, holiday cookie hiding genius piece of clothing!
Here are my top Canadian sweaters of the season (for men, women and kiddos!):
Pumpkin latte’s may be phasing out of season, but this sweater certainly isn’t. Made of Hemp, Organic Cotton, and Bamboo, this sweater is made in Montreal but has a Parisian elegance about it that’s perfect for a holiday dinner.
Such a sweet tree design, for a more subtle pattern lover such as myself. 100% Organic Cotton, made ethically in China.

Tentree is one of the most impressive sustainable Canadian brands out there right now, so if you don’t know about their tree planting projects (over 50 million trees planted!) and other initiatives, I would suggest checking them out! They just came out with a Lorax themed line as well – so cute.
This brand is such a fun discovery! Made in Canada, 100% Cotton, provides a warning to those around you that you’ll probably trip and break their favourite wine glass before the night is through.
Kotn is a “basics” lovers dream (aka me)! They always create fun cuts but still keep the fabrics and colours simple so you can work them into any wardrobe seamlessly. 100% BCI Cotton, ethically made in Portugal, gets softer and softer with every wash!
Talk about an everyday staple! Love the added texture to this classic fit. This sweater will take you through many seasons to come! Alpaca, Merino Wool, Polyamide. Based out of Vancouver, BC. (They are sold out on their site, so I linked Charlie & Lee – a great, Vancouver-based selling platform for North American, ethically made products).
This is really an all season sweater – great for layering in the Winter and wearing tucked into your high-waisted denim in the Spring or Fall. Lyocell, Organic Cotton, Spandex, Made in Vancouver, BC.
Do I really have two sweaters on this list with “latte” in the title? Yes. I told you I was a sucker for a cozy drink! This is may be closer to a longsleeve tee, but I’m going to include this here because I love this company and it’s sweater-esque. Encircled is a local brand that has all your basics covered, literally. Organic Cotton, Made in Toronto, ON.
I couldn’t resist putting a cute little baby sweater on this list – I mean hello it’s woods themed for crying out loud. Organic Cotton, Lyocell, Spandex, based in Kingston, Ontario.
